Building Blocks

In this section, you will find an overview of all available Building Blocks within the XR Toolkit.

Building Blocks form the foundation of your interactive scenario. They define how objects behave, how interactions work, and how your workflow is structured.

How to use this reference

Each Building Block has its own page with:

  • A brief explanation of its usage
  • An overview of all settings
  • Available actions and reactions within the Workflow

Working with Building Blocks

Building Blocks are used in two ways:

  • On objects in your scene
Select an object and add a Building Block via the Building Blocks panel.
This gives the object behavior, such as interaction or visualization.

  • Directly in the Workflow (Virtual)
These are used to control logic, such as timing or triggering actions.
Add them by right-clicking in the background of the Workflow and selecting a Building Block.

Together, they form the building blocks of your scenario.

Use the navigation to open a specific Building Block.
